Julie STENGER
Tax Clerk

Julie Stenger began her career with the Town of Skaneateles in 1995 working for the Town’s Recreation Department and in 1996 became Deputy Town Clerk under Town Clerk, Janet Aaron. She is currently the Elected Town Clerk of the Town of Skaneateles. Julie was elected to this position in 2018.

Julie is a life-long resident of Skaneateles. She has a Daughter, Brittany, and two grandchildren. Her daughter, husband and their children are also residents of the Town. Julie is a third-generation Skaneateles resident. Her grandparents moved to Skaneateles Falls in 1930 and became a part of the industrial community, working in the mills and manufacturing  plants.

Julie has enjoyed serving her community in this position, and hopes to continue for many years to come. She is a member of the Onondaga County Town Clerk’s Association, The NYS Town Clerks Association, a Registered Municipal Clerk, Notary Public and Passport Acceptance Agent. She has volunteered for many organizations over the years. Currently she volunteers for the Skaneateles Historical Society at the Creamery.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
