Tim DOBROVOSKY
Highway Superintendent
Tim was elected Skaneateles Town Highway Superintendent in November 2021 and he is seeking reelection in 2025.
Tim was born and raised in Skaneateles, graduating from SCS in 1985. He received an Associates Degree from Cayuga Community College and went on to earn a Bachelors of Arts in History/Education from SUNY Cortland. He has been married to Janet Egert Dobrovosky for 35 years and they raised their three children here. Tim's parents taught him the value and dignity in an honest day's work and he was fortunate to work with them and his brothers in the family excavation business for many years.
In 2015, Tim began work at the highway department as a heavy equipment operator and when his boss announced his retirement, Tim ran for the position and was honored to be elected to serve as Highway Superintendent. Since 2022, he has led a dedicated and experienced crew and is now seeking a second term with continued emphasis on maintaining safe highways and equipment, keeping employees safe and morale high, and being fiscally responsible. Tim has worked collaboratively with the Town board and other town departments to achieve these common goals. He is ready to use his experience and skills to continue to serve the Skaneateles community.
